These classic treats are a gluten-free, reduced sugar, low-glycemic index delicacy! You are going to love these almond cookies as a sweet treat, or a snack mid-way through the day!
Preheat oven to 300°F.
Combine all ingredients. Form dough into 12 walnut sized balls and place onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 5 minutes and then press each cookie down lightly with a fork and continue to bake for another 15 minutes.
To garnish, press a halved almond into the center of each cookie while still warmly fresh from the oven.
Once cooled, drizzle with your favorite melted zero sugar added chocolate!
